For over two decades Philip Cook has been producing some of the most accurate and detailed waterfowl taxidermy available. Philip began his interest into waterfowl taxidermy at 12 years old. He grew up in Central Arkansas where duck hunting was a way of life. Through this he developed a passion for waterfowl taxidermy that has carried with him ever since. In 2016 this has only intensified as Philip began competing in state taxidermy competitions. Since then he has won numerous awards for his work. Philip has been able to incorporate competition techniques into all of his taxidermy works allowing for more realism and accuracy. In order to stay up to date, he routinely takes seminars and classes with other renowned bird taxidermist to constantly improve his skills. This allows him to consistently try the latest techniques to develop true pieces of artwork for each and every client of Bottomland Birds.
